HOUSEHOLD FAITH FAQ

Must faith be practiced at home?

No. The home is the primary locus of religious life, but faith may also be practiced privately, outdoors, or in community with others.

The Household Faith teaches that worship does not depend on a dedicated religious building or professional clergy. This makes the person and household capable of sustaining religious life wherever they live.

Calling the faith domestic does not forbid congregational worship. It prevents community institutions from displacing the direct relationship between God, the individual, and the household.
