Who is God in the Household Faith?
God is One, sovereign over all things, worthy of worship, and unlimited by any power, institution, sacrifice, or intermediary.
The Household Faith worships the One God made known at Sinai. God is the source of moral order and the giver of the Ten Words.
God hears prayer directly, judges each person justly, extends mercy according to His will, and requires no other being to make His authority effective.
No prophet, teacher, office, or religious institution is worshiped or treated as necessary for access to God.
